F.A.Q
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Do you accept insurance?
No. All services are offered as private-pay, structured programs. This allows the work to remain focused, flexible, and aligned with depth rather than insurance-driven constraints.
Is this therapy?
My work is clinically informed and trauma-responsive, but it is not traditional open-ended weekly therapy. Services are structured, time-limited, and designed to provide clarity, insight, and direction.
Can I work with you long-term?
The focus is on short-term clarity work. Some clients return for additional phases, but each engagement has defined goals and duration.
Do you work with clients outside of Minnesota?
Yes. Clarity-based consulting, coaching, and diagnostic clarification services are available nationwide. Clinical services requiring state licensure are offered in accordance with applicable regulations.
What types of services does InsightPath Coaching and Consulting offer?
We provide three core services designed to meet the unique needs of our clients:
Coaching Intensives
These structured sessions focus on enhancing communication, conflict resolution, and emotional regulation, particularly within relationships. Coaching is ideal for couples, parents, and youth seeking to build healthier interactions and stronger bonds.
Advanced Skills Training
This service emphasizes mastering practical tools for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. Sessions are tailored to address individual challenges by integrating DBT, CBT, mindfulness, and problem-solving techniques.
Skills Education
Aimed at raising awareness and understanding, Skills Education provides clients and their support persons with actionable strategies for stress management, improving mental health, and fostering long-term resilience.
How is this different from traditional therapy?
Traditional therapy often focuses on symptom management over time. My work emphasizes understanding the underlying patterns—emotional, cognitive, relational, and behavioral—that drive current difficulties, allowing for informed next steps.
Who is this work best suited for?
This work is best suited for individuals and couples who are ready to engage deeply, reflect honestly, and participate in a focused, structured process. It is not designed for crisis stabilization or casual, session-by-session support.
Do you offer long-term or ongoing sessions?
Services are intentionally time-limited. Some clients return for additional focused phases of work, but each engagement has a clear beginning, middle, and end.
What if I’m unsure which service is right for me?
That’s common. An initial conversation helps determine which service—if any—is the best fit for your goals and needs.
Do you provide ADHD evaluations or testing?
I offer trauma-informed ADHD diagnostic clarification through in-depth clinical interviewing and differential analysis. This service is not a neuropsychological evaluation and does not include school IEPs/504s or disability determinations.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Payment may be divided into two or three installments. Full payment is required by the final session.
What makes your approach different?
The work integrates trauma science, neuroscience, relational dynamics, executive function, and behavior pattern analysis — delivered with precision, compassion, and depth.
What happens after I submit an inquiry?
I review all inquiries personally. If the work appears to be a good fit, you will be contacted to schedule a brief conversation to discuss next steps.
What if this approach is not a good fit for me?
Not every client or situation is a fit for this work. If appropriate, alternative recommendations or referrals may be offered.
Is this work confidential?
Yes. All services are confidential, with exceptions only as required by law.
Do you provide crisis or emergency services?
No. This practice does not provide emergency or crisis intervention services. Clients in crisis should contact local emergency services or crisis resources.
